Caption

Artworks are often labelled as 'Untitled' to allow viewers to interpret them freely. But can artworks truly be 'untitled' without any other meaning? Can they be simply 'what you see is what you get'?

I create enlarged 'Untitled' captions that clearly state their dimensions and media, aiming to make them truly untitled. This approach also questions whether captions with information such as the artist's name, title, year, dimensions, or medium are essential for art appreciation.

If an artwork can exist without a caption, can a caption exist without an artwork? In this case, the caption itself becomes the artwork, carrying its own beauty.
